And then this pops up, courtesy of Variety Magazine: Elliott Lester has been tapped to direct BLITZ, the feature adaptation of Ken Bruen’s police thriller, for Lionsgate U.K., Donald Kushner and Brad Wyman [producing].The kicker? The rumour mill has it that none other than – trumpets please, maestro – Jude Law will be doing the honours.
BLITZ centres on a serial killer who’s aiming for tabloid immortality by executing cops in southeast London.
