Crime Always Pays' collective choice is Rollerskate Skinny's Horsedrawn Wishes (1996), a masterpiece that stuck it to Mercury Rev before the Revsters got out of first gear. How cool were the Skinny? Well, even if they'd never recorded a note, they took their name from a line out of The Catcher in the Rye, which makes it the coolest name in the entire history of rock 'n' roll ... fact.
